Solana Beach, CA. is boss. I going to have to come here with the wife for vacation and just chill out. The weather is awesome and from what I've heard, for the most part, it's the same all year round.

I'm staying about a block from the water. And all around this place is real estate/homes that cost more than all the houses on my cul de sac.

Calypso Cafe is a nice little dig we came across while driving around checking out the sights. I've only been in this traveling game a couple of months, but this is definitely the best food I've had on the road.

Speaking of driving, we spent (we being another sales guy and an engineer) quite a bit of time rolling around contemplating how much the real estate was and what exactly it is all these rich mofo's around here do for a living.

That and enjoying the great looking joggers that must have multiple sugar daddies to pay for the Benz's and Lexus' they have parked in front of the beach.

I guess you have to take the good with the bad with this traveling though. Luckily I wasn't sitting in my hotel room when my 5 year old called me all choked up because Lassie fell into a waterfall.

It did make the Stella I was drinking go down a little quicker though.

Off to bed.

6am = my departure time tomorrow = me surfing the internets for another hour and a half.

Dude, it's 70 degrees and mild here in Big D. Sweet.

I just saw this mindfuck for the first time this past weekend.

Loved it and I'm not even sure what the fuck it was I saw.

Heading off to San Diego tomorrow. Solona Beach to be exact. Our distributor's office is right across the street from the ocean. Slam some beers and then try not to fall in will be my mission.

9/23/06 - 12:03 AM EST

I just spent 10 minutes trying to find the precise time Autumn starts. That it took me that long in this day and age of the internets/Google abilities was quite alarming and quite frankly, I began to panic.

Ahhhhh, but now that I know the exact, precise moment in time that Autumn begins, I can go ahead and begin my annual embrace of the season.

I'm not really sure what it is. The combination of football, the anticipation of the holidays, Halloween included, the weather at least acting like it's going to change and of course, the colors of nature changing, just get me all mellow and peaceful this time of year. So much so, that I literally count down the days.

And it probably has to do with all the great memories of my life somehow having taken place during the final part of the year.

I won't go into a long drawn out thing about my personal beliefs here, (I lean towards the Buddhist persuasion of thinking) but I believe that Autumn is when I can see my ancestors and the echoes of my past in everything around me more than at any other time of year.

Yes, I know, that last statement was pretty out there, but, preside out there I do. <~~~~wins most commas in a sentence award.

But I digress...........

Lost
Battlestar Galactica
The Office
Rescue Me
Gilmore Girls
The Shield
The Wire

Do yourselves a favor and get some DVD action going with this list. I promise, you won't be dissapointed. Especially with The Wire. It's not just a tv show, it's a work of brilliant art.

--------------------

I love Survivor. It's something I can watch with the whole family. My kids love it. Between this and Survivor Man on The Science Channel, I'm betting that one of my sons ends up ebing some sort of outdoor type dude who can build log cabins and find food in the asses of flowers and trees.

The whole seperated by race thing, totally blown way out of proportion. It hasn't even really been that much of an issue. Yet. And actually, it's interesting seeing the dynamic within each race's tribe. People of the same race may be more prejudice and have jacked up perceptions of each other than of that of a person of a different race. Whatever you define race as being, but that's another debate on someone else's blog.

And of course, which group looks like the biggest set of dipshits so far, The Spics. Purposely throwing a challenge so they can vote someone out??? Fools I say. That have no clue what is waiting for them down the line in show and they go ahead and purposely lose a player and become a man down? Again, fools I say.

See how much fun that sounds?

Survivor, still the best mindless adventure you can have on a Thursday night.

--------------------

No travel this week, but next week, I'm off to San Diego for a few days.

--------------------

It's Friday. I'm sure I could back over this post and edit some shit, but fux it.

As soon as I have something of any significance to post. I'll let you guys know.

Thursday, September 14, 2006

Hi. I'm back. And stuff.

Much has gone on since my last post. A promotion at work. My youngest had his first day of school ever. My oldest is a freshman in high school. And my middlest wants to "retire" from soccer after this fall season and go back to playing football next fall. (American style)

Promotion you ask? I've been upgraded to the Regional (Sales) Manager type. This entails me traveling quite a bit. Like for example, right now, I am sitting in a hotel room in King of Prussia, PA. Question, does it always rain this frakkin' much in PA.? Christ on a Harley it's wet here.

This traveling, not only I, but the family will have to get used to, yes. But, it's something I just feel like I have to do. For me to progress to a new level of scratch (scratch meaning here taking my financial situtation to a new level = being able to do more for my family), this is the path that needs to be rocked. And rock it I will. Like a motherfucker. Watch.

So here I sit in King of Prussia, at a desk that is located way too close to the a/c unit, finding myself suddenly inspired to begin posting here again.

Music you say? Funny you shouldn't ask.

The Silversun Pickups. They are completely running the show in my music department right now. And yeah, they sort of having a Smashing Pumpkins vibe, but while I am fan of the Pumpkins (what have they done for me lately?) I was never on their sack of bollocks like some of you, so I am gonna go ahead and like these guys more right now.

Silversun Pickups

Go ahead rock yourself out to "Well Though Out Twinkles" and "Lazy Eye".

P.S. If someone post on a blog and no one reads it, is it still a blog? <--(Carrie Bradshaw style motherfuckers!)

Tuesday, June 20, 2006

Absolutely not. There is no "too much" good music.

Serena-Maneesh - Drain Cosmetics

Pass it this way motherfucker.

Beirut - Postcards from Italy

Don't be close minded and like this song.

Sunday, June 18, 2006

This is the part of the show where we tell you about good music. Good music you won't find on shitty FM radio. I was disgusted with FM before I got Sirius. Now, the maybe 10 minutes of FM I've heard since last Xmas, when I received the most wonderful of gifts, Sirius SatRad, well, they sucked almost as much as this sentence's structure.

Music Snobbery commencing in 5,4,3,2.......

Jenny Lewis & The Watson Twins - Rise With Fist

Right now, I am more in love with this girl than Alanis. (Alanis, if you're reading this, baby, we'll always have SFIJ)

Neko Case - Star Witness

Sorry my dear Alanis, but Neko is stealing some love too. I say Star Witness, but all the songs on her page rule.

Phoenix - Long distance call

If I had to pick my number two song right now, it would probably be this. I have this thing where songs remind me of people. This song reminds of my friend Joel. ( See Joelito on my sidebar link thingee)

of Montreal - Requiem for OMM2

of Montreal's new album, "the sunlandic twins" has gotten more spins in my Saturn than anything else the past two months. You should purchase it.

Aloha - Your Eyes

No they're not from Hawaii. Yes they're cool.

Band of Horses - The Funeral

Everytime I hear this song, I stop and listen real hard to the lyrics. Go for it.

Rilo Kiley - I Never

My new girlfriend, Jenny Lewis, is the lead singer of this band. I'm pretty sure I first saw this group on an episode of the 2nd greatest TV show ever, Buffy the Vampire Slayer. You know, at that "All Ages" they hung out at? You don't know? Sucks to be you.

Gnarls Barkley - Crazy

The general public aka the robotic masses, are finally starting to discover the genius, original sound of Gnarls. Crazy is still a cool ass song, and it wouldn't suprise if it tops the Pop charts someday soon. Check out GoGo Gadget Gospel while you're at it.

Mates of State - Fraud In The 80's

If you listen to this, or any song on their myspace for that matter, and come away not thinking this husband and wife duo are cool, then there is no longer any hope for you.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Phenomena

Y Control is still my favorite song by the YYY's. But you ask, does Karen-O still rock freaky? Oh Hell Yeah Yeah Yeah! (sorry, just couldn't pass up that cheesy ass pun)

The Flaming Lips - Free Radicals

The Flaming Lips are my favorite rock band of all time. Their style matches the insides of my brain. This past week, I finally started doing some serious listening to their latest album. I've had it since the day it dropped and I'm not even really sure what took me so long to start loving it. The more I listen to it, the more I want to listen to it. Don't think I'll love it as much as Yoshimi, I'm still way gay for that album, but it's definitely a keeper.

Katie Melua - Just Like Heaven

Like I said, chick singers, I can't help it. Say hello to the person everyone has or will call the Euro version of Norah Jones. Not sure if she is as good as Norah, maybe a little cuter, and that may be clouding my judgement right now, but yeah, she sounds good.

Elf Power - An Old Familiar Scene

This song has been out awhile, and I'm dying to get the album and everything else this group has done. The mixture of instruments, song structure, the singing and lyrics, brilliant. I promise you, you won't here this on "The Edge".

Art Brut - Formed A Band

Listen to this song a few times, and then tell me if it doesn't get stuck in your head for days. Love it.

Honestly, it's no secret how and where I am finding all this good music. Left of Center - 26 on Sirius, there just isn't anything better for me. For years you could only read about bands and music like this in magazines or hear it on college radio. Not anymore.

And seriously, this is just the edge of a bunch of good shit. There is just so much cool music out there that FM doesn't even acknowledge, that even listening to MySpace music is better than FM. At least with Sirius you have a gateway drug to cool music. With FM, it's nothing but the Clear Channel's of the world dealing you junk.

For more of what I am listening to nowadays, hit The Armando Show MySpace and check out "My Friends".

Tuesday, June 13, 2006

I dig chick singers. What can I say?

This first video is from a "chick" who hasn't even put out her album yet. That MySpace thingee can really get you some heat. Her blog is most intersting. For me at least. I'm dorky like that.

Lily Allen

Now this "chick", well, it's a close race between her and Neko Case as to who will finally unseat Queen Alanis from her throne. (never thought I'd say that)

And the twins who accompany her, good stuff. (See The Watson Twins)

Jenny Lewis and The Watson Twins

Rock, Paper, Scissors

Proof that humans can and will make anything into a sport.

What next, people driving cars in a circle for money?

So I ask, "Has the human race "Jumped The Shark"?

(I'm pretty sure the term "Jump The Shark" has indeed itself jumped, yes)

Friday, June 9, 2006

So I took one of those completely ridiculous "MySpace" surveys you see all over people's, well, umm, MySpace's, and I found out what "type of humor" I have.

It's almost 100% correct. I'm pretty sure the vulgarity could go up to about 40% and I can still roll with some of the frat type/gross out humor.

Although that type of humor has been run into the ground, if done right aka Old School and Wedding Crashers, it can still be funny. But yeah, after American Pie, it has been done to death and even I have become somewhat numb to it.

Shit like The Office (UK [funniest show ever] & USA) are what comedy is all about.

See below for the results. And if you want to take it, you're going to have to go ahead and surf my MySpace and dig around. Or something.

The Wit
(71% dark, 38% spontaneous, 31% vulgar)
your humor style:
CLEAN | COMPLEX | DARK

You like things edgy, subtle, and smart. I guess that means you're probably an intellectual, but don't take that to mean pretentious. You realize 'dumb' can be witty--after all isn't that the Simpsons' philosophy?--but rudeness for its own sake, 'gross-out' humor and most other things found in a fraternity leave you totally flat.

I guess you just have a more cerebral approach than most. You have the perfect mindset for a joke writer or staff writer.

Your sense of humor takes the most thought to appreciate, but it's also the best, in my opinion.

You probably loved the Office. If you don't know what I'm talking about, check it out here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/comedy/theoffice/.

YOU! WERE! UNABLE!

And while yes, you still have a few hours of breath in your lungs, you have turned away from me and have begun your descent back into oblivion.

Until next year New Monday. You have been a worthy opponent.

Everybody, all together, get them out.........

WILL FERRELL STYLE SPIRIT FINGERS!!!!
The New Monday has arrived. I am still in possesion of my soul, but it's not been without a fight. The New Monday has tried it 's damndest to take me down. But I will not be so easily slain. I will not fall prey to the existential insanity which is the The New Monday.

His/Her power comes from the thoughts that are stuck on the edges of our minds. You know the ones. The ones like........

"If I think about this song, I can't get it out of my head."

"What? Am I talking to myself? Yes I are. Isn't I?"

"I like the way the other soap I used to use smelled."

"so much for the movies."

"I don't really want to be here but I don't really think I think I care either."

Like I said, it's not without effort on The New Monday's part, it's just that I am standing tall.

Friday, May 26, 2006

Oh, I know I'm not the only one who gets a fake sense of relief when Friday hits. Especially when Monday is a holiday.

Enjoy your three day weekend. And remember, next week, Tuesday is the new Monday. And the new Monday will eat your soul, just like the old one always did.

Rock this next song while simultaneously embracing said false sense of relief.

Jake, he's the morning guy on Left of Center, and just now, literally as I was about to post something, he says, "please stop writing on your blogs and listen to me for a second".

I was like, ok, wow.

So I stopped.

And he talked about the new nightly show on LOC called Blog Radio.

He completed a few sentences, let us know it was ok to start writing again, cue "My Morning Jacket - One Big Holiday".

Here I am writing.

(I've really made a bold effort to say "ass", "shit" and other borderline curse words today. Not really sure why, but "damn" it feels good to be a gangsta.)

Being that I'm not really sure what makes a word a borderline curseword, as opposed to a full on curse (or is it cuss? Fuck. I don't know.) like Fuck, I'll lay a few on you, and maybe my two fans will help clarify this for me.

Me and You and Everyone We Know

Look, we all do it. Overhype shit to infinity. Call all sorts of things genius, crown stuff with coolness to the point that these terms no longer mean shit.

But when I tell you that this fucking movie rules my brain even though it's been months since I've seen it, and that it's genius and absolutely deserves to wear a crown of cool, well, motherfuckers, I mean it.

I could watch this movie and Sideways over and over for like ever, and I would still think you suck because you haven't seen them yet, and because they are the absolute bad ass shit.

P.S. I'm 34 today. I repeat, Fucking Gross.

The Burning Man

I'd seriously like to attend this one day.

the bee with wheels
Camera Obscura - Hey Lloyd

I'm in a mellow mood. Ask anyone that knows me personally, I'll straight go silent on a motherfucker (motherfucker being everyone in the universe) for days.

I feel one of those snaps coming on. It's not like I'm mad or whatever, it's just that I get into this "zone" where I mellow out and have absolutely nothing to say to anyone, because in all reality, they CAN'T hear me.

Saturday was the first time my employer had a "proper" company picnic.

Six Flags, BBQ, and hot Texas weather = good time. I've been working at the same place for 12 years on June 1st, and it feels good that I don't hate coming to work everyday. It actually feels quite new.

.....

Two CD's:

The Fiery Furnaces - Bitter Tea
Of Montreal - The Sunlandic Twins

Both worth the price of admission, with Of Montreal's being the one most would be able to grasp and get into a little quicker. The Furnaces can really be out there, but of course, I'm already out there, so it finds me.

Next on my list, the Islands new one and why I haven't picked this up yet, Neko Case's new one. She's hot. And can sing sweetly.

.....

Honestly, I'm all TV'd out. First it was my unhealthy addiciton to video gaming that I thought would never end, that did. Now, other than a show here or there, Lost, Sopranos, and of course GILMORE GIRLS! I find myself going ahead and not caring anymore.

Holy Shit. I'm getting old or something.

.....

Speaking of the elderly, on Wednesday I will be 34. Fucking gross.

.....

All of sudden, I wish I was somewhere like a place with "sandshell's" or something.

.....

"If you can see your path laid out
in front of you step by step,
you know it's not your path.
Your own path you make with every step you take.
That's why it's your path."

Why Religion Must End.

Very interesting article I read this morning. Not saying I agree or don't agree 100%, but still interesting nonetheless.

And yeah, I know it's a long ass article about religion and some are going to be like, I'm not reading that nonsense, but do yourself a favor and at least try to read it.

Or not.

One of my "hobbies" is reading anything about religion and philosophy and.....I've gone on too long.

Let's pretend we don't exist. Let's pretend we're in Antartica. Let's have bizarre celebrations.

Of Montreal - Wraith Pinned To The Mist (And Other Games)

Let’s have bizarre celebrations
Let’s forget who forget what forget where
We’ll have bizarre celebrations
I’ll play the Satyr in Cypris you the bride being stripped bare

Let’s pretend we don’t exist
Let’s pretend we’re in Antartica

Let’s have bizarre celebrations
Lets forget when forget what forget how
We’ll have bizarre celebrations
We’ll play Tristan and Izolde but make sure I see white sails

Maybe I’ll never die
I’ll just keep growing younger with you
And you’ll grow younger too
now it seems too lovely to be true
but I know the best things always do

let’s pretend we don’t exist
let’s pretend we’re in Antartica

This is absolutely my favorite song of the moment.

Come to think of it, this is now Teh oFFiCIal sIzOng of TeH Ramundo ShOW.

Gilmore Girls - Creators Leaving!

I've known this most dreadful of news for a while now. Basically, I've been in denial. For those that don't know, which, if you read this blog I question your reading comprehension, Gilmore girls is my absolute favorite televison show ever.

And usually, when I post things, I just say screw it and hope you know who and what I am talking about, but for the record, Amy Sherman-Palladino and Daniel Palladino are the creators of and Gods of the universe Gilmore, and they are leaving.

I'm serious when I say this, but this has me heartbroken. To me, this most wonderful of universe's exist in their minds, and if they are not the ones creating the genius, well, it just won't be the same.

I'm hoping, like in most negotiations like this, they will resign.

And Luke and Lorelai better end up together, happily ever after.

I already live with the pain of Winnie and Kevin not hooking up on The Wonder Years, and, as a lump forms in my throat, Joey picking that sorry ass Pacey over Dawson.

And for the record, you can all (all two of you who read this madness) thank Sirius for the constant discovery of these music nuggets. Left of Center - 26 is absolutely my favoRIGHT station evAR. Common

I originally posted this last year. Consider this a bump. Complete with linkage to his myspace, which features this song I am still loving.

Now, you can hear "The Corner" while you read me go on about it!

*enters Dr. Evil's time machine*

Common

The Corner - Common

I don't care what anyone says about all the Hip Hip junk that is out there right now, Common Sense rises above that mess.

The Last Poets have a couple of spoken parts in the song. Here is some of their genius.

Rep it.

[Spoken: The Last Poets]
The corner was our Rock of Gibraltar, our Stonehenge
Our Taj Mahal, our monument,
Our testimonial to freedom, to peace and to love.

[Spoken: The Last Poets]
We underrated, we educated
The corner was our time when times stood still
And gators and snakes gangs and yellow and pink
And colored blue profiles glorifying that

Friday, April 21, 2006

"May the sound of this bell penetrate deep into the cosmos
Even in the darkest spots living beings are able to hear it clearly
So that all suffering in them ceases, understanding comes to their heart
And they transcend the path of sorrow and death.

The universal dharma door is already open
The sound of the rising tide is heard clearly
The miracle happens
A beautiful child appears in the heart of the lotus flower
One single drop of this compassionate water is enough to bring back the refreshing spring to our mountains and rivers.

Listening to the bell I feel the afflictions in me begin to dissolve
My mind calm, my body relaxed
A smile is born on my lips
Following the sound of the bell, my breath brings me back to the safe island of mindfulness
In the garden of my heart, the flowers of peace bloom beautifully."

Still the most genius tv station around.

Be Easy

Ghostface Killa

Follow the link to Ghostface's MySpace and tell me the song "Be Easy" isn't damn good.

That's Hip Hop.

American Idol

Dear Sirs and Madames, I am an American Idol fan.

I'll cut through the usual nonsensical verbage that I jack down as some sort of post and say that Katherine, Paris and Taylor are all good enough to win. Taylor is entertaining as hell and his voice rocks. Katherine probably has the most skilled voice and is pretty damn sexy. Paris, when she sings the standards aka Billie Holiday, she's damn near perfect.

One last thing, Paula Abdul is A) On that shit or 2)Drunk as hell.

Go Katherine!

No Floaties On.

It's Easter Sunday. Sister in Law's house. Backyard. BBQ + swimming + lot's o' beer = Good Times.

The littlest of The Armando's (5 years old) runs back out from the house, after eating or somesuch, I see that he does not have on his "arm floaties" and I tell him so as he proceeds to jump off a fierce cannonball. The "huh" he gave me mid air was priceless.

He actually stayed above water for a bit and almost peddled to something he could grab onto. I was on the edge of the pool watching all this. Once he realized he didn't have the floaties on and that he could sink if he stopped swinging his arms, well he stopped swinging his arms. It's called freaking out.

It's called me jumping in to get him. Clothes, Razr phone and all.

He was fine. Won't forget his floaties next time and I will get him swimming lessons asap.

P.S. RazR phones don't dig being submerged in H2O. Still trying to get the sumbitch to work.

P.P.S. Gnarls Barkley - Crazy is a damn cool song.

Lynn Samuels

I love listening to this wacky broad on "Talk Left" - Sirius 146.

She has an obnoxiously grating voice, but the way she rips into Bush and the Right, is fun to listen to.

P.S. Sirius es El Poo-Poo.

How to listen.

1. Realize you are doing all the talking.

2. Close mouth.

3. Open seldom used holes in side of head.

I'm the biggest Texas Rangers fan you know.

I've been, and will always be, the biggest Ranger fan you know. I just want to see them make it to the World Series ONCE in my lifetime. Just make it. They don't even have to win. Just being able to go to a World Series game here at the Ballpark in Arlington would be enough.

So you can understand my pain after games like last nights.

Deb: What are you drawing?
Napoleon Dynamite: A liger.
Deb: What's a liger?
Napoleon Dynamite: It's pretty much my favorite animal. It's like a lion and a tiger mixed... bred for its skills in magic.

Pretty Sure.

Pretty sure that most of my cousin's who have decided to rock Downtown Dallas, have no idea what exactly it is they are doing there.

Pretty sure LULAC is enjoying the attention. Pretty sure I haven't seen them in the news lately doing shit else.

Pretty sure immigration policies need to improve.

Pretty sure that most of my cousin's come here and do the things yours won't.

Pretty sure I don't want the border wide open.

Pretty sure I want it open for those who are truly wanting to work and for those who are truly wanting to become United States citizens. IE, learn "thee" English and pay "thee" taxes.

But alas, I'm pretty sure 75% of my primos downtown are there for the party.

Ole.

Morning.

FYI - Every morning is a Starbuck's morning = Grande White Mocha where everybody knows my name. Literally. And you want to know what's worse than that? My wife and my youngest go there daily as well. They know all of our names.

*throws Chicano Power fist in the air....or something*

Of course Sirius comforts me on the drive in. Left of Center - 26 is what I was rocking to. Tell me something. Am I the only who thinks "The Editors" are getting to much love? I mean, they don't suck, but I'm not thinking they are something I look forward to listening to, like for example, the new FLAMING LIPS, which I need to pick up. It's an upardonable sin that I haven't done so already. Money clip is a little light this week, so I had to go with a Chronicles of Narnia purchase at my local house of prayer, more commonly known as Circuit City. On the 15th, the new Lips will be mine.

Continue to not know what the hizell I'm talking about.

The Lashes

On the music player, click "Sometimes The Sun".

As the music hits, imagine yourself at a place, maybe outside, on a beach, where a mandatory keg makes it home. As you pump your glass full of more party, the sweet stench of sticky icky invades your nasal cavity, the waves crash, the music blast and life doesn't stuck.

P.S. Absolutely no FLATLINERS allowed.

Join me.

It's Friday Freaks!

Sitting here chugging down some overpriced coffee (Grande White Mocha), listening to Stern on Sirius (during commercials switch over to Left of Center - 26 or Alt Nation - 21)and, oh yes, working.

Here's another video. Because I can. Because I will.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs - Y Control

Their new album is out now. Get it. Because You Can. Because You Will.

Gnarls Barkley

I heard them for the first time the other morning on the way to work. Check out the song "Crazy".

Empire's 50 Greatest Indie Films

Because I like Indie movies. Because most of the time, a movie with a budget of maybe $2,(see Sideways) has more creativity in it than say, a movie about a giant monkey. (see King Kong)

Empire's 50 Greatest Indie Films

Number's 9 and 17 are two of my all time faves.

I'm so f'n cool.

At War With The Mystics

The Flaming Lips

New Flaming Lips album out today. Awesome. Their last one, Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots, is still in my rotation, and one of my favorites of all time. Do yourself a favor and like them.

Funny.

Funny how, now that my life is not teetering on the brink of desperation, pain, heartbreak and all out unstableness, my blogging rhythm/mojo is pretty much non existant.

I mean, are these weak ass "TiVo" post all I got in me? Fuddy Duddy I say. Balderdash and Hullabaloo.

Ok. I'm going to make an Armando Show programming decision right here, right now. (Jesus Jones)

This will NOT be one of those post where I say how I am going to recommit to posting again. Mainly because no one gives two craps but me if I post or not.

So, Self, it's not going to happen. Blah, blah, blah....I have my fingers in my inner ears!

I'm glad I am so stable now.

TV - 2006

I'm going to go ahead and update my TiVo list. I know you've been on pins and needles waiting for such an event.

(Note: I have since purchased a SECOND DirecTiVo for my bedroom. Awesome isn't it?)

Ok. So CSI (all of them) was on my list and I had expressed the genius of them, but I'm already burnt out on them. It's not hard. It's the same formula every episode. Not that that's a bad thing, you can watch whenever you want, be entertained and then totally forget what you just saw. My time is limited. I have "deeper" things to watch.

Like my new favorite show that I can't believe I've never given a chance before, "The Shield". Or, the new season of Survivor - Exile Island. (There are possible tense issues with this last sentence)

Disclaimer: This is not everything on my TiVo's. I still record CSI and some other half loved television shows. It's just that I only save one or two, and if I don't watch them, they are just replaced with new ones. (Anyone else notice how much BS I can type about the most non important things? I'm pretty sure it's some sort of condition.)

Watching assloads of television is a real waste of energy and time. Unless! you combine this heinous activity with an activity of good use. Folding clothes and/or clipping your nails (hands and feets) while watching, almost makes it ok.

SHUDDUP ARMANDO!

  • Survivor - This thing just never gets old to me. Whole family watches every week.
  • 24 - Jack is God.
  • Lost
  • The Shield
  • Gilmore Girls - As if.
  • Veronica Mars
  • The Office - The original is still the funniest show ever, but this little show that could is the best 30 minute show on TV.
  • How I Met Your Mother - Almost Friends like. My 2nd favorite 30 minute show.
  • House - Watch it. I dare you. USA. Friday Nights. Season 1 is a rockin'.
  • Reruns of Alias from the beginning on TNT. They run though the night on Wednesdays, 6 episodes every week. Genius. Season 1 is now in full effect. (As my condition contnues to rear it's ugly head).)
  • Survivorman - Les izDaMan!!11 howicanbethemanwhenLESistheman, youdamanLes, Shake It Uppppppp! (If Jack and Les joined up, they would kick Chuck Norris' ass and take over the world!!!)
  • WWE Raw - May be the absolute dumbest thing on TV and I have and will love it forever.
  • TNA Impact! - More wrestling. See above.
  • Related - Yes, you read that right. The WB show about 4 sisters. Two of the lead stars are Latina and I support Latino's in the media. (even thought their characters are Italian) Something about this retarted show just sucks me in. Ok, so I love cheese. Sue me.

No way I miss the top three on that list. Everything else is a bonus. Still a very unstable amount of TV if you ask me, and I've cut down. Thank Technology for the TiVo. I wouldn't be able to watch otherwise.

This condition is only stabilized by Blogging.

Olympics

I feel like I should care and be into watching the Olympics. Notice I said, "should".

I am ready for some Major League Baseball though.
Go Rangers!

(Yes. This is the best I could come up with after, like 2 or 3 months of not posting. Thanks)
