Ode to Robert M. (Track 4)

Another work buddy hits the road. And not just any work buddy, he's a high level member of the Unstable Friends Club. (See Joelito, who once also worked here, but has since left me here with no one to watch put their penis in an oscillating fan)

He's the last one here who operates on the same wavelengths that I do. When it comes to Music, Movies, Pop Culture, Dick Jokes, Thoughts on Life, Football (not that NFL bullshit), Books, just all around conversation he's right there with me.

It's so going to fucking suck without the "Ipod King" up here. There are still friends here, but they are, like normal and cool and shit. Real stable. Gives me the creeps sometimes.

I'll miss ya Rob. All jokes aside, you are one cool motherfucker.

This leads us to Track 4 of The Armando Show soundtrack (yes I know there is an earlier post where I call the soundtrack by it's previous name, like I haven't been bothered by that, shut it)

As you leave today, both middle fingers in the air, this song should be playing in the background.

Artist: Grandaddy
Album: Sumday
Year: 2003
Title: Stray Dog And The Chocolate Shake

"Supervisor guy turns off the factory lights, so the robots have to work in the dark.

And theres a car load of kids, with beer and cigarettes, burning out and doin lawn jobs in the park.

And theres a shitty limosine parked in front of the bar, it never got to drive, any movie stars.
But the guy in the drivers seat don't care, with his wierd cologne and his magic hair, (its magic!)

The sofa and the fridge are on the car, but they're not strapped down, and we're drivin all over town.

And the used up krylon cans that the farmer found, were used to paint the foot-hills brown.

So there's a high school football coach sittin on the couch, with a tooth pick in his mouth.

And the stray dog won't forget the day, he tricked him with a chocolate shake, (little trick!)"

Bon Voyage My Friend.

Armando
