Saturday was the first time my employer had a "proper" company picnic.

Six Flags, BBQ, and hot Texas weather = good time. I've been working at the same place for 12 years on June 1st, and it feels good that I don't hate coming to work everyday. It actually feels quite new.

The Fiery Furnaces - Bitter Tea
Of Montreal - The Sunlandic Twins

Both worth the price of admission, with Of Montreal's being the one most would be able to grasp and get into a little quicker. The Furnaces can really be out there, but of course, I'm already out there, so it finds me.

Next on my list, the Islands new one and why I haven't picked this up yet, Neko Case's new one. She's hot. And can sing sweetly.

Honestly, I'm all TV'd out. First it was my unhealthy addiciton to video gaming that I thought would never end, that did. Now, other than a show here or there, Lost, Sopranos, and of course GILMORE GIRLS! I find myself going ahead and not caring anymore.

Holy Shit. I'm getting old or something.

Speaking of the elderly, on Wednesday I will be 34. Fucking gross.
