Sirius
So long terrestrial radio. Other than my local sports talk station, The Ticket, I will no longer need you.
If you're considering getting it, you should. I've listened to both and it really comes down to what type of programming you like. Sirius has Stern and the NFL, and XM has MLB and a few other exclusive things. What they both do equally is show you how obsolete regular radio has become.
For the price of a new CD every month, you get 120 stations of variety.
Worth every penny.
Here's a list of my favorite stations:
Left of Center - Indie, College Radio type Rock
Chill - cool, relaxing mix of downtempo electronica and rock.
Backspin - Old School Hip Hop (Genius)
Alt Nation - true Alternative Rock Radio, not that bullshit they try and feed you
Area 33 - trance/electronica
1st Wave - Classic Alternative (think Psychadelic Furs *dances like Ducky*)
Big 80's - Duh. Like, I am so totally still stuck in the 80's. For sure.
Check my links for linkage to cool Sirius related websites.
Merry New Year!

This is one of those. I'll make it short.
This is one of those blog post that informs you about how the author has ignored his duties and explains why.
Only that I have no idea why I have ignored this blog and/or posted run of the mill TV show impressions. This writing thing is hot and cold with me. Most of the time I'm like Denzel, A Man On Fire. But there are times, like the past month and a half where I sit at the pc, hands over the kb, and I end up reaching for the mouse and clicking/ reading comic book forums to waste my time instead.
And just like that, with absolutely no remorse, NEW TOPIC.
No. We didn't go to Disney World.
Yes. Suck it does.
Why? Fate.
The witch dealt my Dodge Grand Caravan a blow. This would not have been her maiden voyage. Old faithful has traveled them roads before, but this time, at the most perfect of times, she is not in proper shape to be driven cross country. And why yes, the Saturn was chomping at the bit to get this chance to prove himself, we decided to push the trip out to the usual time we go. Spring. (Of course, once we hit the stores and started Xmas shopping with some of the money we had set aside for the trip, weesa started to feelsa bettah = I got Sirius under the Trizeeeee!) Poor Saturn. He knows that it is in our blood to fill a vehicle past it's capacity and drive long distances. I'll put a banana in his tailpipe later and explain to him that this decision had nothing to do with him, and everything to do with instinct. (Ok. I tried a little to hard with that last sentence, but you get the idea) Why force the issue?. It can wait until Spring Break.
Again, no warning, NEW TOPIC.
I'm pretty sure no one cares, but I feel like I must comment on this only to bring closure to the subject.
Stephenie deserved to win Survivor. But, I'll give it to Danni. She came out of nowhere and stole it from the tough hottie who has been involved in more Survivor challenges/tribal councils than any other human being ALLLLIVVVE!
Boo! NEW TOPIC.
I have since come around on CSI: Miami. Just watching David Caruso, I'm sorry, Horatio, take on and off his sunglasses while looking away from the people he is tough talking is fun as hell. Recommended. As are the other two = Mindless Entertainment for the masses that are funner 'n shit to watch.
Stay tuned as the drama surrounding my desire to post unfolds.

TV (Updated)
Or how about if I just streamline them? Cool.
Every once in awhile I actually take time and read over what I've posted. I see that I have two, that's right, two different titles for post that are similar in nature. "The Armando Show TV Guide" and "TiVo Talk".
I've lost my train of thought.
I've recently realized, for only the fourth or fifth hunderedth time, that I really probably watch to much TV. Sometimes my TiVo overwhelms me. I look at what's on my playlist, and I'm like WHOA! *strikes Gangsta pose*
I mean, there are a few shows that are must see, but that list is getting shorter and shorter because of A) The DVD Factor and B) I just don't care that much anymore.
Here's the list of must see TV:
There's more junk on my Season Pass list, and if I feel like it, I watch them. If not, DELETE.
The End.
Actually, it isn't The End. I forgot one show on my list, The Office (US). Funniest show on American TV. Not better than the original of course. The original is, IMHO, the most genius, hilarious show ever.
(Thanks for the reminder Mik aka MormonRage)
Wait for it........

In a few hours, my "traveling for work" cherry will be popped.
On my way to Maryland to visit our distributor there for a couple of days.

TV - Survivorman
The Science Channel ruling is nothing new.
Watch as Les shows us wankers what really goes down when you are left alone in the wild.

TV - Survivor
Bye Judd!
My two girlfriends, Steph and Danni, just played you.
I don't know about you, but last night's episode was the best of the season so far for me. Although, Gary dropping the Secret immunity Idol on their asses at Tribal Council was pretty good too.
I was kind of pulling for Gary. He was actually playing the game like a champ. Staying quiet when he needed too. Planting seeds of doubt on the cool. In the end though, he was too much of a threat for my girl Steph.
I've been pulling for her since day one. This is her second Survivor, and both times she has been one of my favorites. Last time out she was on a horrible tribe that never won squat. This time, she is in total control. She better be careful though. I have a feeling that the other four that are left with her are going to turn on her.
Danni winning immunity last night was key. She succeeded in breaking up the strong alliance of four by winning the idol, and is now on Steph's good side.
After all these season's, Survivor is still my favorite show and really the only "reality" show I watch.
